Crutch Words

Dear Egmont friends, I have a problem. I use certain words far too often. And it needs to stop. When I was in high school, and everyone I knew was in their "Valley-Girl" phase, my father used to become incredibly annoyed with my constant "liking." (And this was before the days of Facebook where it became okay to "Like" anything from a witty wordplay to Nikes. But I digress.) A Whirlwind Day at BEA

After over a week of rain, the weather yesterday, on Day Two of BEA festivities, could not have been more lovely. All the more woe that we were stuck inside Javits.

Egmont ushered in the Expo with a party co-sponsored with several other small independent presses around town. It was a treat to chat with a handful of Egmont authors - Christina Mandelski, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Trinity Faegen, Ilsa Bick - and many wonderful booksellers.

And, hey, they might not even be all that interesting. But E-Nation is such a wonderful opportunity to have a dialogue within the Egmont community. I hope you will all join the conversation.

So, in honor of the first BEA when our lovely authors plotted to bring this Ning to…
